Your devastation is not your destination. On your journey of trying to reach your goals, you may face destruction and you may feel devastated. That is okay, it is part of life. When you hit rock bottom and you think there is no further down…think again. This is not the end of the road – this is not your destination.

Sometimes hitting rock bottom was actually the beginning on the road to recovery. You will not stay at the bottom. Many people won’t listen to advice until they hit rock bottom. Generally, this is because people like to think they can work out their own life. Seek help, as you might need to see a therapist or hire a coach.

“The greatest glory in living lies not in falling, but in rising every time we fall.” a quote from Nelson Mandela. Pick up yourself when you are at your lowest, allow yourself to feel the pain. Do not try to ignore them. Practice self-compassion and make peace with and accept the things that happened.

Take responsibility for your actions. For you to be able to change things for the better. Take control of your life and use the wisdom earned from the things that went wrong. Remember devastation is not your destination. Get up, go on and keep reaching for your goals.
