People are not the problem. People have problems.
Life Pulse solves people problems. We find the root cause behind the performance you are not getting, remove it, and install the structure that keeps it from coming back — so results go up without anyone paying for it with their health, their family, or their team.
Where are you killing it, but it’s killing you?
Almost everyone who calls is already winning at the thing they are known for. That is not the problem they describe. This is:
The drama and the distractions take the whole day, and the real work waits until tonight.
Every hour is committed to someone else. Unhurried, un-encroached time does not exist.
You are the one absorbing it for the household and the company at the same time.
The professional vital sign is a nine. The body, the marriage, the faith are sitting at a three — and the nine is what is dragging them down.
The same coaching conversation, with the same person, about the same thing, again.
You hit the number, you celebrate the end zone, and the dysfunction is all still there in the morning.
That maybe it was always you — or that you will get exposed as a fraud when you are not.
Not out of ambition. Out of capacity — emotional and mental, not hours.
If none of that sounds like your week, we are probably not who you need. If most of it does, keep reading — because none of it means you are the problem.
Where this came from
Life Pulse did not start in a classroom. It started with a crew hired off Craigslist — people nobody would have called high performers — and a question that would not go away: if the people are supposedly the problem, why does the same person perform completely differently under a different system?
That crew went on to outperform teams that had been hired for talent. Not because the people were replaced, but because the system around them changed. Matt Granados built the process that did it, then spent the years since proving it was not luck — running it inside organizations of every size, from small businesses and manufacturing floors to teams at Google, X, and the United States Air Force, and writing it down in two multiple #1 international best-selling books, Motivate the Unmotivated and The Intentional Week.
The conclusion never changed, and it is still the sentence the entire company is built on: people are not the problem. People have problems. Remove the problem and the performance was there the whole time.

What this looks like when it is working
A few seconds from a Life Pulse room — the work is not a lecture, it is people finding the gap between where they are and where they said they wanted to be.
What we found, and why it makes us different
Once you start looking for root causes instead of symptoms, the same pattern shows up everywhere. Most teams are running at roughly 40 to 60 percent of what they are capable of. Not because anyone is lazy — because the structure around them quietly wastes the rest.
So leaders do what they have been trained to do: they buy something. A new platform, a new incentive, a training day, a reorganization. It works for a few weeks, then the old behavior comes back and everyone concludes the people are the problem after all. We call those symptomatic solutions, and they are the single most expensive habit in business.
The fix is not more effort. It is intention and structure together — the right mindset paired with the right tools — sequenced in an order most companies skip: expose the real gap, bridge it with something built for your people, then sustain it with rhythms that make progress compound instead of relapse.
We also do not start where the rest of the industry starts. Nobody needs to be told they are misaligned — if you have a pulse, you are aligned with something. You are aligned to something that is costing you more than you want to pay. That is why the word here is always the verb: realign. It is not a state you arrive at and keep. The moment you think you are realigned, you have stopped checking.
So we measure four vital signs instead of one — work, body, relationships, faith — every week, and we do not let a win in the first one get paid for out of the other three. Fulfillment is the metric. Success is the byproduct. Getting people what they want is the easy part; the honest part is what it reveals about whether they wanted it.
What that produces is a level of performance most leaders have never been told exists. Not high performance, which is a sprint you eventually pay for. Optimal performance: the same output or more, at a pace a human being can actually hold. You do not have to trade your health, your family, or your team's morale for results. That trade is the false one.
Six things we will not move on
People have problems. Find the problem, remove it, and the performance you were hoping to hire for is already in the room.
Treating a headache is not the same as finding the tumor. We will not patch something and call it fixed.
Structure without intention suffocates. Put them together and growth compounds on its own.
Our goal is that you can run it without us. Leaders should leave with time back, not with another thing to manage.
Anyone who tells you performance requires burning people out is selling you a sprint.
Many can tell you what they will do. We would rather show you what has already been done.
What we will never ask you to trade for it
By the time people get to us they have already paid with their body, their sleep, their patience at home, and years they cannot get back. They are done paying in that currency, and we agree with them. These are not negotiable, and none of them are the price of performance:
- The marriage.
- Being present for their kids while they are still in the house.
- Integrity, and how they treat people on the way up.
- Their faith not being a costume.
- Their body — belatedly, and under threat.
- Control of their own calendar.
- Peace of mind over the last dollar.
Anyone telling you results require spending those accounts is selling you a sprint and calling it a strategy.

What Life Pulse is not
Our clients have bought solutions before. Several have spent over $100k on coaching. They can tell you exactly what it bought them, which makes them very hard to sell to and very good to work with. So, plainly:
No get-rich vehicle, no hack, no motivational high that wears off by Thursday.
You are a seasoned buyer. You have already paid real money and can tell us exactly what it bought. We will not sell you content you already know.
If the system becomes one more thing to maintain, it has failed. Leaders should leave with time back, not tasks.
Peer forums put you with people whose problems you have outgrown. This is a correction, not a room.
Cheap reads as no accountability, because it usually is.
AI can hand you any tactic in seconds. What it cannot do is apply it under pressure, in your actual context, with your actual people.
Everything we actually do
One method, delivered at whatever size the problem is — an hour on a stage, a day in a room, a year of coaching, a certification so you never need us again, and an event that puts a thousand people through it at once.

Not our summary of the work. What clients reported, word for word, while doing it:
“My goal was five paying clients. I got nine.”
“We had our first $5,000 day.”
“I now have $400,000 sitting in our account — that’s how fast it stopped being spent.”
“That’s the biggest change I’ve made, and why I don’t feel as much stress anymore is because I have those benchmarks now.”
“The scheduling thing has just made me so much more efficient that my timelines have been speeding up.”
“I truly believe my business will grow further with less headache, doing it this way.”
“The 12-week goal system has helped me align my team, such that this is not an issue.”
“Two different teammates independently tell me it feels like we’re checking boxes off and getting things done.”
“Head of human resources pulled me aside twice in the last two weeks to tell me how strong, confident, and bold she saw me in meetings.”
“I started treating clients like I was the authority again — I’m just doing what I do and being me.”
“What a turnaround, what a corner in the last six weeks — that is real quick.”
Revenue, margin, team, calendar, authority in the room. All of it earned inside a 90-day cycle, and none of it charged to the seven accounts we said we would never touch.
Many can promise what they will do. Here is what has been done.
