\ \ Finding out what they value, what they are grateful for, and what they are interested in are the things that will help you motivate them. You have to seek that thing that makes them tick. Like a value proposition, it is the outline of how the things that you want them to do, benefit them. If what you're offering them is not worth it to them, no matter how many times you offer it, they are not going to be motivated.\ \ Similar to the "carrot and stick" approach of motivation, you must find the right carrot for them to feel motivation. If the carrot you dangle is not working, trying something else may lead to success. This could be anything from learning what their interests are, finding what they are grateful for, asking them the right questions, 0r discovering what their \'93why\'92s\'94 in life are. By doing this, you have the ability to offer them the right motivation proposition.\ \
