We all bring something of value into the world. Whether it’s a skill, a product, a service, an idea, or simply our presence, what we offer holds intrinsic value. But too often, when we’re trying to share that value with others, we get caught up in explaining how we got there instead of showing what we’ve created.
The Value Is in the Baby — Not Just the Delivery
In the video, LPF Macron explains that while the process — or the “delivery” — is important, it’s not what people are ultimately buying into. They're looking for the outcome. They're looking for the baby. Yet many of us spend so much time over-explaining, over-justifying, and over-selling the process that we bury the real value of our offering.
This applies in business, leadership, and even in our personal lives. People don’t need your entire backstory to appreciate the value of what you’re offering today. Your results, your impact, your product — that’s what they came to see.
Focus on the Offering
This week, if you’re pitching an idea, promoting a product, or presenting yourself in any way, ask yourself:
Am I highlighting the value?
Or am I trying to validate the value through unnecessary detail?
The truth is, your offering has value on its own. The journey that got you there may be inspiring, but don’t let it overshadow the impact of what you're delivering.
Your Weekly Challenge
This week, try this simple yet powerful shift:
Lead with the value.
Show the result.
Talk less about how you got there and more about why it matters now.
Let your offering speak for itself.
If you’ve built something meaningful, people will see it. Don’t overcomplicate it. Don’t oversell. Just show them the baby.
Share the Wisdom
If this message resonates with you, share it with someone who might be spending too much time explaining instead of revealing. Your value — and theirs — deserves to be seen clearly and confidently.
