Knowing your strengths helps increase your self-awareness. It can give you a new appreciation for traits you previously undervalued in yourself.

  1. Play to and leverage your strengths.

Do not be consumed with competing with others instead compete with yourself. Do not be distracted by them. Figure out the tasks you are good at, and leverage them.

  1. Identify and shore up your weaknesses.

Identify your weaknesses and acknowledge them. Do something about your weaknesses and develop a support system for them.

  1. Delegate.

If you are weak at something, find someone who is strong at it. Delegate it to them but do not abdicate.

  1. Stay disciplined.

Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment. If you make the commitment to delegate certain activities, then follow through. 

Identify your weaknesses, acknowledge and manage them. Focus on your strengths and leverage them. Capitalize on them. Play your strengths well and shore up your weaknesses. In this way, you’ll be able to grow both personally and professionally.
