It is said that life is more beautiful when we are aligned with our purpose. How do we do it? Alignment is defined as a position of agreement or alliance to a cause, situation or person. Your alignment is more important than your assignment. When we align with something, we are in agreement with it.  This is often our settled position towards something we see. It encapsulates our thoughts, choices, and direction in life.

Align with Your Purpose

Aligning with your purpose can be a journey that involves self-reflection, exploration, and taking intentional steps toward your goals. Here are some ways you can discover your own answers to that important question and align yourself with your purpose:

  • Be yourself.

Being yourself means being true to who you are and what you believe in, without trying to conform to someone else’s expectations or values. You have to know your value, embrace your strength, trust your intuition, and practice self-care. Remember that being yourself is a journey, and it’s okay to make mistakes or change course along the way. The most important thing is to stay true to yourself and live a life that feels authentic and fulfilling to you.

  • Be consistent.

Being consistent means showing up and following through on your commitments over time. Building consistency takes time and effort, but it’s worth it in the long run. By being consistent, you can build strong habits and achieve your goals over time.

  • Be bold.

Stay in action and don’t be afraid to say what you think and what is really happening with you behind the scenes. It means taking risks and stepping outside of your comfort zone to pursue your goals and dreams.

  • Be helpful.

Being helpful means contributing to the well-being of others in a positive and meaningful way. Show up with value and solutions. People will notice you and respect you if you help them solve a legitimate problem they are facing or fulfill a desire they have.

  • Be choosy.

Being specific with the way you want to serve will help you align with your purpose. You won’t find fulfillment in trying to be everything to everyone. It means being selective and intentional about the people, opportunities, and experiences that you allow into your life.

  • Be friendly.

Being friendly is not just about being nice. It means being warm, approachable, and kind to others. A simple smile goes a long way. you can create a positive and welcoming environment that makes others feel comfortable and valued just by being friendly.

  • Be imaginative.

Try new things, and let your mind and imagination wander. If you are feeling burnt out or like you have plateaued, try to implement something new that you never even thought about doing.

Aligning with your purpose is a journey. However, it starts with taking action. Take intentional steps towards your purpose. Stay focused and committed to your goals, and don’t be afraid to course-correct if necessary.
